2023 was kind of a weird fall in Ontario. Trees were turning colours in completely different time frames – lots of trees were bare while others were still green! While this makes it a bit harder to find that wall of colour we usually see, it also creates some opportunities for little scenes like this to stand out and take notice. I was immediately struck by the fall leaves on this little stand of trees as they almost seemed to glow in the afternoon light. A nice little island of fall!
