On mostly cloudy days over these glaciers, there can be almost a complete absence of colour, except for glacial pools of meltwater, and occasionally some blue ice. These pools are just so shockingly blue, and they feel even more colourful when the rest of the landscape is so drab. I’ve seen pools like these many times, but often struggled to shoot them. This time I was a bit more fortunate!
