This little scene in walking distance from home really caught my eye – I could see some of this incredible light from a ways off and thankfully when I explored the scene the composition kind of fell together. Also, in an odd twist of fate, the presence of wildfire smoke ensured that the light wasn’t as harsh as it would normally be at this time, making this image more likely to work out.
