The Yukon has been a special and meaningful place for me for a long time. It was the first place a landscape had a big impact on me, the place where I gained my love for hiking and camping, and a place where I’ve had many meaningful experiences which made me who I am today.
Every time I visit the Yukon, all of this experience comes rushing back to me. This would be my 4th trip to the Yukon, and it was a big one. This was probably my most memorable visit to this special place, resulting in some of my most cherished back-country experiences, a at least one near disaster!
This was also the first time I tried to produce video from my trip. In the end, I came away with 4 videos, with 3 from Tombstone Territorial Park and on from Kluane National Park – If you want to get a good feel for the trip, those videos are the best way to do it!
