This image is all about colour, pattern and texture. Like so many other areas here in Auyuittuq National Park, the valley was so narrow that the water would light up near sunset with reflected light from the glowing peaks. As little ripples on the Weasel River moved along their way, they’d reflect either the blue sky, the mountain behind, or show the river’s true colour below, creating these ever-changing patterns and colours. Zooming way in on the river from high above, it was almost mesmerizing to watch.
