Fall has to be my favourite season because of how much every scene changes. In this image, I was really struck by the contrast difference between the changing fall colour on the leaves against the dark soil background, as well as the partly decomposed leaves of years-past. An interesting reminder of fall seasons long ago, and yet to come.
