While a lot of my trips involve a lot of walking, this one involved a whole lot more paddling. Canoe camping in Ontario is a really the way to see a lot of back country in the province, and it’s a pretty different approach to camping to be fair. With a canoe, you can bring so much more, travel farther, and visit a lot of spots which would otherwise be inaccessible. On this particular trip to Killarney Provincial Park, we decided to visit this lovely tree under a full moon. Paddling in the darkness was an invigorating experience, and even nicer when we visited this lovely little characteristic tree on its own personal island.
